History 

Paul and Tina Smith, John and Pat Ray, Howard and Maribeth Watson, Bill and Mary 
Johnson, Terry and Sue Jones, and Ada and Bill Smith were attending Fishersburg 
Wesleyan church when they decided to leave in February or March of 1976. The group 
met at Paul and Tina's for awhile, and then they met at Alice Park on west 8th 
Street on Sunday afternoons. The group had rummages sales and added the proceeds to 
their tithes and with the tithes of their former Pastor started looking for a building. 
The group turned one down on 29th street then the Realtor told Paul about the building 
at the corner of 10th and Chase Streets and God opened the doors to Central Community 
Chapel. Many churches have started out of C.C.C. and many have been saved, 
many have gone to be with the Lord, but the vision has never changed.
